Welcome to Doonside Kindergarten!

​We are a community based, not-for-profit preschool for 3-5 year old children. Our Centre is licensed for 40 children each day. We have 2 rooms - "The Bottlebrush & The Gumnuts". Each room has 20 children enrolled daily. 

Inclusion for all children

We believe that all children have the capacity to succeed and that children progress best when families and educators hold high expectations for them regarding their learning and development. We seek to build on children’s strengths as well as identify and support their specific needs so that all children can participate, engage and enjoy all aspects of the preschool day.

We are an inclusive mainstream preschool and our highly qualified educators have many years’ of knowledge, experience, training and enthusiasm in supporting pre-schoolers from diverse backgrounds and preschoolers with additional needs.  We provide fun and exciting play environments that promote meaningful communication and interactions with children and educators.

The centre operates Monday - Friday during Public School terms from 8am - 3.15pm. Extended Hours are available daily to 3.30pm (for working families). The centre closes for all Public Holidays and Public School Holidays (Fees are NOT payable for these days).
