Fees & Payments

Doonside Kindergarten is a not-for-profit community-based Preschool.              

We receive funding through NSW Department of Education & Communities.

 

PRIORITY OF ENROLMENT (under the ECEC guidelines)

  • Four year olds who will transfer to school in 2025.

  • Three year old from families who are eligible for a Heath Care card due to Low income (equity).

  • Children with Additional Needs, Children from First Nation Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander communities, families who are in crisis or in need of assistance & families from culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds.

  • Children living in the local area (Postcode 2767).

                                    

 

DAILY FEES FOR 2024

 

  • Under the 2024 NSW Government’s Start Strong for Community Preschools Program, the current Preschool fees are free of charge for all families attending two days per week (600 hrs p.a.) and will remain unchanged until further advise from NSW Government).

 

  • For eligible parents/carers of children returning for a second year who require a third day of attendance for their children due to work and/or study commitments, a term fee of $600.00 will apply. 

  • A reduced rate term fee of $50.00 will apply to families who are holders of a current Health Care Card from Centrelink or from an Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander background, as well as children attending the Inclusion Support Programme who have been diagnosed with a level 3 disability.

 

 

HOLDERS OF HEALTH CARE CARDS

Please present your Health care card from Family Assistance Office/Centrelink to the preschool office. 

                                     

 

 

ADMISSION FEE:     

An annual admission fee of $50.00 is payable prior to your child’s first day of attendance for the year.  This admission fee covers $35.00 to the Building Fund, $13.00 Resource Fee and $2.00 Association Membership.
